Privacy overview
This page explains what HelioKit AI handles when you use the site.
Files processed in your browser
PDF, image, OCR, QR and CV tools process files locally in your browser. The file itself is not sent to HelioKit’s server for those operations. Your device may retain browser cache and downloads according to your browser settings.
AI requests
When you choose an AI feature, the text you submit is sent from the site’s Cloudflare Worker to the AI provider configured by the operator. For Document AI, text is extracted locally first and the extracted text is sent for the requested operation. Avoid submitting sensitive information unless you are comfortable with that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
Guest use and accounts
A signed, HttpOnly browser cookie identifies a guest session and applies daily usage limits. If you create an account, HelioKit stores your email address, display name, password hash, plan, usage counters and saved history in a Cloudflare D1 database. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
History and deletion
AI results and completed tool activity may be saved to your account history. You can export or clear that history, or permanently delete your account from Workspace Settings.
Infrastructure
The website and account database run on Cloudflare. AI prompts are sent to the AI provider selected by the site operator. The site does not intentionally store uploaded file contents for file conversion.
